Nowadays the amount of municipal solid waste increases more and more faster because ofexacerbation of urban industrialization. With the simple process, easily operating, disposal oflarge amount and low-cost, Sanitary landfill is mainly adopted to dispose municipal solid waste. While the survey show that almost all of landfills have the leakage pollution. Landfill-leachatepenetrated from geomembrane liner will penetrate into soil, and spread into water body ofaeration zone, and then pollute underground water which is Irreversible serious. And theninvestigating the pollution of landfill-leachate is a difficult task.As one of most widely used testing pollution soil mothed, the resistivity method show a gooddetection capability in Leachate polluted areas and pollution boundary survey. However, it still hassome problem, such as the quantitative relationship between the resistivity value and the contentof leachate is not yet perfect. This article describes the process of leachate leakage pollution, builds electric model underdifferent detection conditions, and analyzes the detection capabilities of the different electrodedevice on the underground contaminated areas based on forward modeling calculations. From theexperiment, the resistivity factors of unsaturated and saturated sand were respectively studied. Andthen the relationship between the resistivity and the leachate content was obtained. the relationshipwas proved through simulation experiments. This paper studied the influence factors of the resistivity of landfill-leachate contaminatedsand soil, and simulated the situation of underground pollution with different configurations. Theresults will significantly promote the study of the resistivity method detection technology.
