Tungsten and molybdates have been paid more attention in the red phosphor research area, because they can effectively transfer energy to the activator under near ultraviolet light excitation. In this thesis, the red phosphors with tungsten and molybdate as matrix and Eu3+as activator were prepared by hydrothermal method. The optimum hydrothermal conditions and dopding concentration of Eu3+were determined, excitation and emission spectra, SEM, XRD were utilized to characterize the samples. In order to obtain the high efficient red phosphor, the influences of different hydrothermal time and doping concentration of Eu3+were studied. The investigation was expected to provide an experimental basis to explore efficient red phosphors for the application of LED.
