As the expanding of NC machine tools applications, its impaction to traditional mechanicalmanufacturing industry also is shown; it improves the precision of parts. Some complex parts,which have to be completed through the fixture or modified machine originally, can be easilyperformed in CNC machine tools. CNC machine developed to the milling and boring center,from the original single milling machine, from the single axis control to multi axis. In view ofthe current CNC drilling machine the situation of the system of our country, we use theembedded technology to research and development with independent the NC drilling system,which own intellectual property rights and not expensive, the paper has the important theorysignificance and the practical value.We do some research on Embedded CNC drilling machine system, including systemarchitecture analysis, the software and hardware of the system structure and implementation andso on. The main results we obtained as following:1. We the design the complete solution of Embedded CNC drilling machine system. Weselected reasonable processor as the core of the system, and choose suitable peripheral deviceson this basis, we designed embedded hardware framework, complete the designation ofimplementation of institutions, power, auxiliary peripheral module hardware interface, at thesame time we completed the stability and reliability design, make the embedded modulehardware designation can meet the performance requirements of CNC drilling machine witheconomy requirements; we select reasonable motion control actuator, power supply module,auxiliary peripheral module and other modules, to construction the hardware platform ofEmbedded CNC drilling machine control system.2. Based on cutting and transplantation of μC/OS-Ⅱ embedded real-time operating systemwe analysis kernel preemptive task scheduling principle of μC/OS-Ⅱ embedded operating system,develop the underlying device driver and the basic function API, plan and design the tasks,develop the software of embedded application.3. We introduced a suitable interpolation algorithm and motion control algorithm, to meetthe requirements of real-time thread tapping, precision of holes depth and position. Finally, we introduced the development tools and debugging methods of hardware andsoftware, and System debugging indicates that the embedded CNC system can meet the expectedtarget.
