The process of eutrophication in shallow lakes has been accelerated, showing the Cyanobacteria Bloom-forming phenomena has been increasingeach year. Chaohu is a typical shallow lake in the middle and lower reachesof Chang jiang River and Cyanobacteria Bloom-forming occurredfrequently in recent years, t his condition has already caused some concernby the society and the government In order t o insure t he drink ring securityand enhance the government capability to Cyanobacteria Bloom-forming,early warming monitor is an important measures to judge the changes ofCyanobacteria Bloom-forming and make corresponding countermeasures. In this paper, the well–coordinated manner was emphasized, the earlywarning monitoring system was consisted, the process and the monitoringtechnologies of cyanobacteria bloom-forming was analyzed, startdetermination information issue, guar an tee and evaluation is also gointo details. It is a reference for dealing with Cyanobacteria Bloom-forming in shallow lakesAccording to the monitoring results of water quality, condition of waterbloom and MODIS images during the early-warning monitoring ofcyanobacterial bloom in Chaohu Lake in recent years, this researchformulate the cyanobacterial bloom early-warning monitoring scheme inwhich the lake was divided into resource region, inlet region and lake region, set three early-warning response levels of blue, yellow and red, and optimizethe monitoring points scheme, monitoring period, frequency and monitoringprojects of cyanobacterial bloom early-warning monitoring in Chao hu Lake, providing scientific basis for the research of cyanobacterial bloom in Chaohu Lake in the future.
