Selenium-enriched plant is the most important source of selenium in humans andanimals. In Selenium supplementation on Salvia, organic efficiency of inorganicselenium and the existing forms of selenium are an important research content ofplant selenium in the chemistry. The contents, primary and secondary-level speciationof selenium, which contained in Zhong Jiang selenium-enriched Salvia, was studied. Itexamined the cultivation of Salvia miltiorrhiza for selenium in other trace elementinfluence.Using of hydride generation-atomic fluorescence spectrometry (HG-AFS)determination in the control group and the dose group of Salvia in all parts of the plantsselenium content level, and the correlation between doses of selenium and fill apreliminary discussion. The results show that the control group Salvia root, reed head,stem, stems and leaves of the sample digestion solution selenium levels were lowerthan the qualitative method detection limit; Cultivation for selenium in Salvia, dosegroup of Salvia in all parts of the plants selenium content increased significantly. Thecontent of selenium in the dose group Salvia plants: Leaf>Stem>Stems>ReedHead≈Root, and the high dose group is higher than the low dose group; Na2SeO4absorption of Salvia plant utilization rate is low, is only30%. In Na2SeO4tolerance ofSalvia conditions, the absorption utilization and the concentration of the Na2SeO4spraying and no significant positive correlation, but its selenium content and sprayingthe amount of Na2SeO4positively related. Fill selenium cultivation does not affect theoutput of Salvia.Primary speciation of selenium in selenium-enriched Salvia miltiorrhiza wasstudied. Based on the primary speciation analysis process, using different polarity solvent soaks raises continuously, get different solvent extraction state samples, Openthe wet digestion, with HG-AFS determination of its content, and the calculatedparameters such as the yield speciation analysis. The results showed that inselenium-enriched Salvia miltiorrhiza different parts of the alkali soluble stateselenium content is the highest, its content are in the range of55%65%. Salvia stemsand leaves of different solvent extraction of Se to total selenium content the distributionis basically the same, the alkali-soluble state Se>residual Se>water soluble Se>saltdissolved Se>gliadin state Se. In selenium-enriched Salvia miltiorrhiza roots, thealkali-soluble Se>water soluble Se>gliadin state Se>residual Se>salt dissolved Se, theresidual Se minimum, is only5%. The form of selenium in selenium-enriched Salvia isorganic selenium (selenoprotein). Inorganic selenium in Salviamiltiorrhiza roots is mainly by hexavalent, but in the main stem and leaves is tetravalent.This is the first proved up the primary form and secondary form of selenium inselenium-enriched Salvia, the results of great significance to further explore the typesof selenium compounds, structure, property, function and its physiological activity andso on.In this paper, the Kjeldahl method for the determination of the control and dosegroups Salvia root protein content. The results show that Salvia miltiorrhiza in proteincontent between16.11g/100g16.78g/100g. The protein content in selenium-enrichedsalvia miltiorrhiza and common salvia miltiorrhiza is no significant difference,selenium supplementation did not increase the protein content in Salvia miltiorrhiza.The contents of14elements (Tl, Co, Bi, Cd, As, Cr, V, Ni, Pb, Cu, Mn, Zn, Sr, Ba)in selenium-enriched Salvia miltiorrhiza and control group of Salvia miltiorrhiza weredetermined by ICP-MS. The experimental results show that: Selenium supplementation on Salvia had no effect on absorption of other trace elements, only the content of fourelements(Cu, Ni, Mn) is increased slightly, the content of Cr decreased in the root.The trace element content of Salvia leaves and stems are greater than the content of theroot, which indicates the superiority of Salvia root medicine.In the control group and dose group of Salvia miltiorrhiza As, Cd, Pb, Cu are inline with the content of the medicinal plants and preparations import and export greentrade standards of the content regulations.
