This paper puts forward a simulation program FETSSG, to describe the flow and heat transfer process on Top Seeded Solvent Growth (TSSG) crystal growth method. The numerical results include temperature distribution and fluid flow velocity distribution in single-crystal furnace under certain process parameters, material properties and crystal sizes. The simulation program is developed using the language of APDL, and runs on the finite element analysis software ANSYS. This paper introduces a part of numerical simulation results based on the FETSSG, which contain the TSSG single crystal furnace temperature distribution, fluid flow velocity field and temperature field in the melt. These numerical results are in consistent with the laboratory results, which is valuable to the users.Then, this paper puts forward a process prediction system of crystal growth using TSSG method which is based on the finite element simulation technology. With friendly interface, this process prediction system allows FETSSG’s numerical results to be indexed, filed and stored, etc. TSSG method crystal growth process prediction system can provide instant data which is of guidance value in a series of research in the laboratory.
