With the transformation of economic growth mode, the traditional marketforces of supply and demand are gradually shifting from the sellers’ to buyers’market. But the traditional mass production with slow product update and limitedtypes can’t meet the personalized requirements of the consumers, which thereforerestrained the ability of the enterprises to adapt to the rapid change of the market.So nowadays, it has become a main driving force for enterprises to adopt the masscustomization pattern to replace the traditional mass production pattern.With such a mass production background and based on the present researchsituation at home and abroad, this thesis intends to make a special research on theproduct features of the existing serialized bathroom cabinets. The peculiarities ofdiversified bathroom spaces, the demands for purchase and installation ofbathroom cabinets and the users’ requirements are also investigated and analyzed,so that the demand point of the customized products can be found. In the light ofthese approaches, a questionnaire survey of the consumers and relevant experts isto be made, whereby a bathroom cabinet design platform with specific parametersas well as the level of importance and realization of the products may beestablished. Upon this platform, two kinds of methods oriented by the designersor the consumers can be employed, the design operation with the washstand and the bathroom cabinet as an experimental subject can be conducted, and anassessment of users’ satisfaction can thus be made.
