A molecular-lever machine can be defined in nano-size connecting with a discrete number of ordered functional groups by the interaction of non-covalent bones. In this paper, we did a series of work to synthesis molecular machines parts. The parts are all porphyrins containing pyridyl groups which can easyliy carry out the Click reaction. The molecular machine parts of porphyrins are different from the location and the number of pyridine groups which show different angles and different shapes, but all of them have strong optical and electrical properties. The synthetic of porphyrin molecules machine parts is useful to the building of complex molecular machines and the detection of molecular machines movements.In charpter Ⅱ, five different kinds of porphyrins which contain the group of pyridyl were reported. We characterized they structures by NMR spectroscopy. We also carried out some tests on the five different kinds of pyridyl porphyrins and metalloporphyrins by the tool of Ultraviolet-Visible absorption spectroscopy and Fluorescence spectra.In addition, a derivative of5,10-bis(4’-pyridine)-15,20bis (4’-sulfophenyl) porphyrin was synthesized(P6). We did a lot of researches on its purification. We synthesized this water-soluble porphyrin in order to reduce the difficulties in the preparation of molecular machines.
