Among all the dyes, porphyrins and their derivatives have a special conjugatedstructure as well as spread widely in nature, gained more attention in the research oforganic dyes and light materials. Schiff base has a special C=N bond, which makesthem have unique of electronic effect properties. In this paper, we have carried out anew way of porphyrin modification never reported before, which is leading the Schiffbase groups to the meso-position of porphyrins to form a extended conjugationstructure, meanwhile, the photochemical and spectrum properties are also analysed. The main results are as below:1. New Schiff base-Zinc-porphyrin complexes (L1, L2) of A4type weresynthesized, characterized by property means and the photoelectronic properties ofthese complexes were studied. Different archoring molecules were used to produceDSSC based on L1and L2. The result shows that L2performs a biger IPCE and value in both side and axial coordination. And the IPCE value of L2in sidecoordination reaches25%, value is0.04%.2. New Schiff base-Zinc-porphyrin complexes (L3, L4) of2+2type weresynthesized, characterized by property means and the fluorescence spectrumproperties of these complexes were studied, according to the result that the strongpeaks of emission are all located in red light area which makes them red lightmaterials with good performance.3. New hydrozone-Zinc-porphyrin complexes (L5, L6) of2+2type weresynthesized, characterized by property means and the fluorescence spectrumproperties of these complexes were studied, the result shows that the strong peaks ofemission are all located in red light area which makes them red light materials withgood performance.
