China is one of the main dye-producing countries, the annual dye productionaccounted for more than60percent of global output. The dyes is mainly used in textiles, leather, rubber, printing ink, food and other industrial fields. In recent years, the reactivedye industry has developed rapidly, the current global annual production of reactive dyesdye accounts for about20%of the total output of the dye. The reactive dyes wastewaterexhibited high color, complex composition, toxicity, and it’s stubborn to biochemicaltreatment.Once it enter into water, is bound to cause serious pollution of water bodis andthe surrounding environment. Thereby, it arsose much attention to develop some processesto the treatment of the reactive dye-containing wastewater. Previous work used directcurrent in the electrochemical oxidation, we here apopted low-voltage pulse current toachieve energy saving. In this study, the electrochemical oxidation with low-voltage pulse method was use totreat reactive brilliant red X-3B simulated wastewater. By a single factor test, determinethe optimal experimental conditions:the initial pH is5,NaCl initial dose is1.5g/L,pulsevoltage is25V,pulse frequency is7.0kHz,pulse width is80us,wastewater initialconcentration is100mg/L.Degradation of reactive brilliant red X-3B simulated wastewatertreatment, the final decolorization rate reached99.9%in the optimal experimentalconditions.
