Nanocomposites of Polypyrrole (PPY) and Graphene Quantum Dots(GQD),Polypyrrole (PPY) and Graphene Oxide (GO) were successfully obtained. With theaddition of GQD or GO, the pyrrole monomer growed on them as a soft template, forming nanocomposites, which are different from the spherical particles of PPY.Using a mechanical compressing technique, we prepared the composites electrodesand systematically characterized their electrochemical properties. Also, we tried toadd some CTAB in the PPY/GO composites. We found that the PPY/GQD composites with ratio of50:1, PPY to GQD,showed a good and competitive specific capacitance of485F/g at a scan rate of0.005V/s, which is higher than that of PPY alone. The attenua tion of the specificcapacitance is about2%after2000cycles at a scan rate of0.05V/s. The high specificcapacitance and good stability of the PPY/GQD nanocomposites are very promisingfor applications in electrochemical supercapacitor. |
