The Efficiency Analysis Of The Coal Transportation Network

Coal is the most important strategic energy in China, and coaltransportation is the major event related to people’s living and the nationaleconomic development. Due to the intricate of the transportation network,the low transportation efficiency and the negative impact on theenvironment, the efficiency analysis of the coal transportation network hasbeen the focus of the development of the coal transportation industry andthe development of the national economic.Aiming at this problem, this thesis makes an efficiency analysis of thecoal transportation network from three aspects, which are the networkequilibrium efficiency, the transportation efficiency and the environmentalefficiency, and set up the analysis model based on the theory of complexnetwork, logistics network efficiency analysis and green logistics.Moreover, there is an empirical analysis to the coal transportation networkof Shanxi province. Following the research:(1) Based on the concept of the coal transportation network and thecomplex network theory, this thesis analyzes the framework,characteristics, layout and complex of the coal transportation network andsets up the equilibrium efficiency analysis model with four statisticalvariables, which are the average path length, frequency distribution ofcluster, degree of cluster and coefficient of cluster.(2) Analyze the influence of the transport efficiency from the respectof the mode of transport, transport capacity and the transportation line.Then set up the environmental efficiency analysis model which can reflectthe bearing capacity of the network, the availability, accessibility andsuitability of the network. (3) Based on the green logistics theory, analyze the form and reasonof the environment impact from the coal transportation network. Throughthe research of the energy consumption index and environmental indicators,establish the environmental efficiency analysis model of the coaltransportation network.(4) Finally, there is an empirical analysis to the coal transportationnetwork of Shanxi province.This thesis is very comprehensive in the coal transportation networkanalysis and is significance for the improvement of coal transportationefficiency and the coal logistics system.
