Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) is one of the organic silicon material with special chain Si-Obond, since its excellent electrical insulating properties, weatherability, heat resistance, agingresistancephysiologically inert, non-toxic and other properties, PDMS has been extensiveresearch and application in the construction, automotive, electrical and electronics, aerospaceand other fields. But the application research and in the field of marine antifouling rarely beenreported.1、Based on the modified function of PDMS, this thesis choose PDMS with low surfaceenergy o as the research object, using trifluoroacetic acid (TFA), tetrabutyl titanate (TBT) and itscomplex (TFA+TBT) to modifie PDMS. The experimental has been chose strains of E. coli asthe test,To investigate the changes of antibacterial rate of the modified PDMS film in the case ofUVirradiation and long-term immersion in water,sea water, film applicator coating method hasbeen used for rapid detection of qnti-bacrerial propertiew of the modified PDMS.The results show that: the antibacterial rate of the PDMS film modified by TFA, TBT and(TFA+TBT) is100%in the initial stage of polymerization, after the films has been steep inwater, sea water and UV irradiation within30days, the antibacterial rate of the three kind ofmodified PDMS films are still more than90%, showed a strong antibacterial, but the longermodified PDMS films has been processed, the lower the antibacterial rate was. The surface ofPDMS modified by TBT,(TFA+TBT) distributed nano-TiO2, UV irradiation can improve theantibacterial rate of the modified film, soaked with water to90d the modified film2hantibacterial rate increased by nearly79.4%after UV irradiation.2、Based on the principle of the polymer solution phase separation, adding alcohols(methanol, ethanol, ethylene glycol) to the polymer to build higher hydrophobic performancemodified PDMS film. Study the relationship between the amounts of alcohol added, thepolymerization temperature and the hydrophobic-modified PDMS film, useing water contactangle measuring instrument measure the water, the acid solution, and the alkali solution contactangle of the modified film, research hydrophobic properties change intuitively.The results show that: under normal temperature conditions, the modified PDMS whichadded with alcohol have raised water, acid solution and alkali solution contact angle, and thegreater amount of alcohol added to the modified PDMS film, the higher the hydrophobicmodified PDMS film has, wherein alkali solution contact angle of the modified PDMS filmadded with ethylene glycol can reach139°. In the temperature controlled conditions, the water,the acid solution and the alkali solution contact angle of modified PDMS film have improved.But with the temperature increasing, the effect of the alcohol added amount on the hydrophobicproperties of the modified PDMS film weakened gradually.
