Research On Technology Of Surrounding Rock Controlling In Three-soft-coal Seam Drifting Along Goaf

The mechanism and control of three-soft coal roadway and optimum coal pillarsize are important problem in mineral engineering.In this paper, supported by theengineering background of working face in Xin’an coal mine, with numericalmodeling, synthesizing project analogy method, theoretical arithmetic, field test, thestability of the surrounding rock along next goaf caving roadway are studied, based onthe problem of coal pillar designing, laneway excaving and supporting.The paper makes a systematic exposition for the characteristics and mechanicsproperty of the three soft coal seam of the surrounding rock along next goaf cavingroadway, the characteristics of broken three soft coal roadway driving along next goafand the deformation of ground. With the deformation and broken of the coal pillar, thepaper ascertains the rational coal column breadth by the theory; Based on the geologycondition of working face,FLAC3Dis used in the chapter to do the numerical study thedistribution and the characteristics of confining pressure which caused by the minestope. With the distribution of confining pressure which caused by the mine stope,thestress distribution of coal pillar and the characteristics deformation of coal pillar arestudied under the different coal pillar breadth and the rational coal column breadth aredetermined. Then by the actual geology condition,the stress characteristics of thecombination of frame and cable is studied under the three soft coal roadway drivingalong next goaf and the extracing. At last, the combination support of frame and cablewas successfully applied in the roadways.
