The characteristics of chemically modified electrode is that the surface ofsubstrate electrode can be designed with different functional groups so as to achieve ahigher selection and higher sensitivity, making it has broad application prospects inelectrochemical research area. Electrochemical method has received more and moreattention, because of its rapidity, sensitivity, highly selection, simplicity and otherunique advantages. In this paper, the modified layer on the surface of substrateelectrode can be designed to fabricate chemically modified electrodes for the analysisof the detection of specific substances. The following research was summarized asfollows:1. The CoTPP/GNS modified glassy carbon electrode was fabricated in order toprepare an ascorbic acid sensor. The sensor reduced the oxidation potential of ascorbicacid, further accelerating the electron transfer between ascorbic acid and theelectrode. This may be due to the large surface area and excellent electrical propertiesof graphene, making it as excellent dispersion basement, and the porphyrin with largeΠ strong adsorption which can be adsorbed ascorbic acid molecules in the solution, resulting the larger the concentration of on the electrode surface. Therefore, theelectron transfer is easier to carry out. The sensor has high sensitivity, fast response, and good stability.2. The Pt/L-Cys modified glassy carbon electrode was prepared to detect nitriteby electrocatalytic oxidation of NO2-, avoiding many problems encountered by thereduction method to detect NO2-. Experimental results indicated that this modifiedelectrode has a good electrocatalytic activity toward NO2-, superior to that of othermodified electrodes, and reduced oxidation potential of nitrite. It showed the synergyof two components in Pt/L-Cys nanocomposite films. The preparation of the modifiedelectrode is simple, and has a good prospect in applying field.3. The Morin/CNTs/GC modified electrode was prepared by electrochemcialpolymerization method. Morin molecules were modified on the CNTs modifiedelectrode by non-covalent modification to improve the ability of catalytic activity ofCNT. The amount of modifiers and pH of the detected solution was also investigated. A preliminary study that the electrochemical behavior of the modified electrode in thesolution of copper ions (Cu2+) was carried out, suggesting a possible mechanism ofthe electrode reaction. The experimental results showed that the modified electrodehas good catalytic activity toward copper ions. Thus, copper ions can be measured bydetecting anodic stripping peak.
