The heat exchanger is indispensable equipment in modern industrial, semi-volumeheat exchanger with bellows have gradually become the most popular heat transferequipment in the contemporary industrial, that’s all because of its excellent features, heatexchanger design process including four main parts,there are heat transfer design,structural design, strength check and drawing, heat transfer design、 strength check anddrawing are the main steps of the heat exchanger design, Using computer to completethese tasks can greatly improve the efficiency and accuracy, and the cost have a significantreduction in design.This dissertation discusses the general steps of the design in heat exchanger withbellows and tube arrangement, recounts the principle of for design. Using the VisualStudio.Net2008software to develope a set of design software for heat exchanger withbellows. By steam-water heat transfer and water-water heat transfer "two modes, avariety of heat transfer calculation and verification can be solved through this software.tube arrangement can be generated according to the given parameters, after doublecounting of manually and computer in several different heat exchanger design, efficiencyand accuracy is fully proved.Some useful modules have been added in the software."User Information" inputmodule for entry of design information;"Commonly Used Metal Thermal ConductivityQuery" module is used to query the thermal conductivity of some metals at differenttemperatures; calculation results can be exported to Excel statements and Wordcalculations in export module;"RTF Model" module can be used in design calculations.
