In21st Century,With the improvement of people’s living standard, theenhancement of environmental concept and the growing scarcity of oil and otherchemical raw materials, green pollution-free and renewable natural fiber is bound inhuman life and production, they will be more and more attention and more and moreextensive application. Sisal hemp is a kind of renewable natural cellulose fiber, itsvalue will be shown further. However, sisal fibers characterized by its hardness, count small, the shortcomings of poor flexibility, so in order to increase it in thetextile application must first carry on the degumming and softening treatment. This paper tested and analyzed basic performance of Brazil sisal in accordancewith the relevant standards, basic performance mainly include length, fineness, tensile properties, whiteness, softness and moisture regain rate and so on. Thentested and analyzed on the chemical composition of Brazil sisal from the wholehemp, hemp root, hemp middle, hemp head in four parts, on the basis ofperformance tests and composition analysis, Brazil sisal hemp degumming softeningtreatment need to draw lessons from other hemp fiber degumming process. Softeningtreatment process selection enzymes-chemical combined degumming, bleaching andsoftening treatment. The processing route was following as: sampleâ†'enzymestreatmentâ†'washingâ†'boilingâ†'washingâ†'bleachingâ†'washingâ†'Softenâ†'loosingâ†'Stacked24hoursâ†'washingâ†'drying. According to the experiment purpose andtreatment considerations, fiber processed indicator according to its importance inorder: flexibility, strength, fineness, Residue rate and whiteness. The tested indexesthrough the single factor analysis and orthogonal analysis to determine the optimalprocess conditions. The enzymes treatment optimization condition: temperature is50℃, liquor ratio is1:30, time is1.5h,concentration is1%(o.w.f), c ellulose andxylanase ratio is8:2; The boiling optimization condition:first boiling condition is10g/L NaOH, time is2h,liquor ratio1:30, temperature100℃,second boilingcondition was:5g/L NaOH, time is1h, auxiliary5g/L Na5P3O10, temperature100℃, liquor ratio1:30; The bleaching optimization condition:3g/L H2O2,5g/L NaOH,2g/L Na2O·nSiO2, liquor ratio1:20,time65min,temperature100℃;Softenertreatment optimization condition: Concentration is5%(o.w.f), liquor ratio is1:30,time is45min, temperature is40℃.The treated fibers was analyzed by the appearance of the fiber comparison, electron microscope observation and infrared spectroscopy to evaluate the effect ofBrazilian sisal processing. It can be seen that whiteness, softness has improved bycomparing the appearance of Brazil sisal fiber after every treatment process. Byelectron microscopic observation of Brazil sisal, bundle fibers gradually dispersedwith processing technology in-depth, it also explains the sisal glial be removed stepby step. Brazil sisal, enzyme treatment samples and bleaching treatment sampleSpectral graph approach by infrared spectroscopy analysis, but with the treatmentprocess in depth, the characteristic peak of treated sisal sample value will be smaller,This shows that the enzyme treated and bleaching has changed composition andsurface structure of Brazil sisal, affecting the fiber surface of the absorptionspectrum, the wave number of the change also illustrates the softening method isinfluential for fiber surface structure.
