Global environmental change is the most active in the development of theemerging discipline in the late20th century, espcially for environmental change inarid area research is receiving more attention. Lop Nur region is extremely arid partsof the world, deep within the Asia-European continent. Limited to the Piedmont oftianshan mountains in the North jueluotageshan, South to the Altyn tagh, East arrivedin Yumen passYangguan Pass, West of Taklimakan desert. This special biologicallandforms under the typical desert environment is tamarix cones.Tamarix cones is a kind of shrub dunes, formed around with sand material. Itsexist provides a new technical basis to restore the desert regions of the ancientenvironment. This research area of tamarix cones, sedimentary laminae constituted a"year" structure, and clarity is very high, have the function of storaging environmentalinformation.By means of the analysis of the relationship between the extreme climate eventsand the extreme data of various environmental proxies recorded in Tamarix cones inLop Nur region such as the sand layer thickness, positive ion content in fallen leaves,C/N, δ13C, δD, δ18O and so on.the results are found that there is a better correlationbetween the occurrence of extreme climate events and the extreme data of variousenvironmental proxies. Future this paper also analyzes the time series of happenedextreme climate events and their influencing factors for recent about160years in LopNur region.(1) Through the study of δ13C extreme values in the sequence and thecorrespondence between the El Nino phenomenon, further evidence of the El Ninophenomenon is an important factor effects of extreme weather events.(2) Extract of leaves of cationic content in tamarix cones, C/N values, sand layerthickness, δ D and δ18O multiple environments, such as when the proxy presents asignificant change, is associated with the occurrence of extreme weather events on theground. (3) Factors that affect the local climate of extreme values, in addition to El Nino,North India Ocean monsoon circulation and moisture transport of the westerlies playan important role.(4) In the case of exceptionally strong southwest monsoon, along the Hengduanmountain range along the East side of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau by the cyclone enteredsouthern Xinjiang, Which causes precipitation anomalies in Lop Nur region.(5) Irrational human economic activity are also the factors that contribute to andenhance extreme weather events.
