The large-scale, high-performance, low pollution and high degree of automation development requirements of Aluminum industry have made the central point-cutting pre-baking electrolytic aluminum reduction cell production gradually becoming the mainstream. Currently shell hammer of the pre-training electrolytic cell used to corroded, off phenomenon, generally not life long, which seriously affected the production of aluminum reduction cell performance and production costs. In addition, a lot of wear and tear shell hammer iron into the electrolyte and liquid aluminum would impact the quality of aluminum ingots.Papers were from the production management factors, design factors, material factors hammer the shell easy to rally three reasons for the loss of in-depth analysis. Eventually come to extend the life of the hammer hit the shell response:a. on the strengthening of production management, control the electrolysis temperature and electrolyte composition, to achieve cell material balance; b. to improve the structural design of the system to play the shell, designed to hammer round against a universal type, there are steps in the hammer into the tail pipe, the middle of the second channel with pin protection, appropriate to increase the weight of the hammer, to improve the crackdown; c. improve the hammer hit the shell material, this paper proposes to use chromium-molybdenum cast iron as copper titanium hammer material.Through industrial experiments, papers proposed strategies can make the attrition rate of hiting shell hammer dropped to one-sixth of the loss rate. Note the response presented by paper can effectively extend the life of the hammer.
