Study And Development On Shape Preset Models Of Single-stand Reversing Cold Mill

Strip shape is an important indication which is for assessing the quality of strip products, and decide on the market competitiveness. Strip shape problems get more and more outstanding and become the point focused by many producers’attention at domestic and abroad as the increasing quality demands on strip product made by users.This paper was based on the1100mm UCM cold mill project of Zhongyue Tinplate Corporation. Single-stand reversing cold rolling mill have been thoroughly studied. Aiming at the defects of the shape control system of Zhongyue Tinplate Corporation, shape preset models of single-stand reversing cold mill have been built. The applications prove that the models have good shape control ability and reliable control stability. The main works are shown as follows:(1) The shape set parameter and shape control situation of Zhongyue Tinplate Corporation have been thoroughly analyzed and studied. The defects of shape control system have been analyzed,and the encounter resistance and instability of this shape control have been indicated.(2) A large amount of data have been collected in the factory.The optimized bending force set up model have been exploited based on the influence function method. The value of bending force have been calculated.(3) The relationship of the intermediate roll position has been analyzed.The reasonable intermediate roll position preset model was built,and the parameter of intermediate roll position preset model have been calculated by the site date.(4) The relationship of the bending force has been analyzed.The reasonable bending force calculation model was set up,and the parameter of bending force calculation model have been calculated by the result of the optimized bending force set model.(5)The technique of VBA have been used.The friendly user interface of shape preset software have been exploited at the condition of Visual Basic6.0,which have been commissioned in site.
