Zhongguan iron mine deposit is hosted in in the contact belt among diorite and limestone of Ordovician System, which has the characteristics of deep burial and complex hydro-geological condition. In order to protect groundwater resources and exploit the mineral resources rationally, Hebei Iron and Steel Group Mining Co. decide to use totally-enclosed Curtain grout to cut off underground water in Zhongguan iron mine.After the curtain is formed, a great hydraulic gradient exists inside and outside of the curtain area, as well as mining activities have been running at all time in the area which result the deposit getting closer and closer to the curtain, and high hydraulic pressure and mining activities have an affect on the stability of curtain area. For this reason, this text makes a numerical simulation calculation on the seepage fields and stress fields distribution and stability of the curtain and mineable part in mining conditions.(1) Comprehensively mastering hydrogeology condition, construction technology, mechanical properties of the rock of Grouting plugging-water curtain of Zhongguan iron mine, building3d geological model of the mine area with AutoCAD, and lead it to Virtual Reality System VRP via3DMAX, achieving roaming function and disappearing function of ore body.(2) Simplify the3d geological model to mechanical model which can be used in numerical calculation, solve the difficulty in establishing a complex mechanical model, introduce it to finite element analysis software COMSOL and analyze stress distribution of plugging-water curtain area through numerical simulation calculation, divide serious area and significant area of stress disturbance, provide reference for mine construction.(3)Through the combination of results of numerical simulation and situ data, put forward five hole water level monitoring scheme of field, analyze the advantages of numerical method, predict pouring water of the mine pit with numerical method.
