TiO2nanoparticles is a new kind of new semiconductor materials and has been paid much attention with its excellent properties, such as low-cost, high-efficiency, environment-friendly, chemical stability and so on. However, TiO2is a semiconductor with wide band gap, which only have high photocatalytic activity in the UV region that restricts its application. Therefore, the research on modifying nano-TiO2with visible light response activity and high efficiency is significant. In this paper, TiO2nanoparticles doped with N and Fe-N elements were synthesized by hydrothermal synthesis sol-gel and impregnation method. The products were characterized by XRD, TG-DTA and UV-Vis. The visible-light photocatalytic activity of the obtained powders in the degradation of methyl orange was studied too.The hydrothermal synthesis and sol-gel method were used to synthesize TiO2composite nanoparticles doped with various amount of N element. The UV-Vis results showed red shift for TiO2nanocomposites with appropriate amount of N. The TiO2nanocomposites have different size, crystallization degree and photocatalytic activity with different synthetic method. The composite TiO2powders obtained by hydrothermal synthesis have higher property, which degradated nearly100%Methyl Orange in120minutes.Fe3+/N codoped TiO2nanocomposites were synthesized through sol-gel and hydrothermal impregnation method. The UV-Vis Diffuse Reflectance Spectra showed that adsorption peak of Fe3+/N/Ti02nanocomposites shifted to visible light range. The obtained nanoparticles present photocatalytic properties. The Fe3+/N co-doped nanocomposites synthesized by impregnating with anatase TiO2have higher photocatalytic activity than that with amorphous TiO2, which degradated nearly56%Methyl Orange in120minutes.
