Rural sewage is one of the main source has become plain river-net pollution area, the rural population density is big, scattered wide, sewage difficult to collect, and without any processing but into the river straightly, which was taihu lake eutrophication as one of the main reasons. After investigation, taihu lake basin from farmland, livestock breeding and rural sewage the total phosphorus non-point19%,35%and30%respectively, total nitrogen29%,23%and30%respectively, long-term since, rural domestic sewage emissions increasely,exceed the water environment of rural local net capacity, making the water environment pollution problem is more serious, so rural non-point pollution control has become a top priority of rural water environment management.For the characteristics of domestic sewage in rural areas and slightly polluted rivers of JiangSu. In this study, we basis on the introduction of Japan’s development of the multi-soil layering technology, through digestion, absorption, combined with the characteristics of water quality in rural sewage of Taihu Lake Basin, and the local soil type characteristics and can be used in rural waste of resources. Improved, formed for the rural domestic wastewater treatment technology in Taihu Lake Basin, and established a demonstration project, the water up to a standard. Study the influence factors and the best treatment effect operation parameters, which form high efficiency, low energy and easy management of rural domestic sewage reactor process."Anaerobic regulation pool "Multi-Soil-Layering technology " is studied to deal with domestic sewage in rural areas.The experimental research proposed that:(1) Through the material comparison test, we obtained that MSL system in the soil mixed layer of organic carbon additives-wood chips or straw mixed charcoal, having little impact on the removal rate of sewage CODcr, but more obviously on the removal rate of TP and TN, wood chips or straw mixed charcoal as the organic carbon, the removal rates of TP and TN was82.60%,52.30%or68.70%,44.35%, respectively.(2) Processing capacity of20m3/d Multi-Soil-Layering engineering,the early operation shows that under the fluctuations in water quality, low concentration conditions, the system CODcr, TN, NH4+-N, TP and SS, the average removal rates was70%,59%,83%,76%and94%to up to the "urban sewage treatment plant emission standards"(GB18918-2002) of a B standard.
