Content: Along with the spreading of environmental protection knowledge, the conceptof protecting our environment has won support among the people. According to related data,the prime pollutants in Beijing in2003was PM10(particulate matter <10µm).The mainsource of PM10in atmosphere including two aspects. One is attributed by floating dust fromnatural environment; another is due to behavior of men, mainly because the dust produced byfuel-burning. The size of particle directly influenced human healthy, the smaller the size is,the worse the influence will be. With the diminishing of the particle, the adsorption capacityof toxic substances is increasing, such as multiple Heavy metals and Polycyclic aromatichydrocarbon (PAHS) will cause catastrophic result to human-beings. Analyzing particle sizeon fume-dust created by Yanshan Petrochemical’s fuel, and distribution of those dust, thencalculate specific emission of PM10and PM2.5, then decide whether the fuel-dust is the mainfactor to influence PM10in Yanshan region. Based on the analysis of particulate matter’sdistribution on Yanshan region and its surrounding, and analysis on pollutants’ characters, thispassage will provide scientific basis for the company to reinforce on environment protection.
