Micro-flocculation deep bed filter have a very good development in foreign countries sincethe last century, and is confirmed with good effect of remove turbidity, especially for dealing withthe low temperature and low turbidity color micro-polluted water,it has the advantage of lowinvestment, small footprint and good effluent water quality,is a good choice in micro-pollutedmine water treatment. The treated effluent can be used as the production and living water or reusewater in the mine areas and surrounding areas, and it has a great significance for alleviate watershortages in the mine areas. As a result,in view of the actual situation of mine area, experimentuse the gangue burned residue as filter media, use the micro-flocculation direct filtration processto treat the micro-polluted mine water in Fuxin mine area, first test of the simulate mine water tooptimize the explore parameters and study the characteristics of filtration in the laboratory, drawthe optimum dosage of PAC and flocculation time are2~5mg/L and3~4min,the optimumfiltration rate is10~14m/h,at this time the filtration cycle can reach30~40h,the effect of retaindirt of the surface30cm of filter media take the total filter bed of60~70%,the greater filtrationrate, the faster growth of head loss, the greater role of the depth filter media play.On this basis, usethe optimum paremeters to run filtrate of mine water, draw the removal efficiency toconcentration of turbidity, suspended solids, iron and manganese can respective reach93.47%,89.65%,74.68%and82.91%,but has a low removal efficiency for CODcr andammonia-nitrogen,only about30%and20%,the effluent water quality indicators can reach thereuse water standard. At last explore the flushing parameters, draw the optimum flushing intensityis35L/(s×m2),the flushing duration is10min.
