Aerobic granular sludge stored in refrigerator in3.8~4.5℃for8weeks were recoveredactivity in the self-made SBR reactor with brewery wastewater by orthogonal test. According tothe characteristics of AGS, chose four factors to explore the influence degree of four factors andto find out the best recovery conditions of AGS. The four factors are influent COD, settling time, operation period and aeration rate. In the same time, the removal law of COD and ammonianitrogen in the early stage of recovery was researched. In different storage conditions, physicalproperties of AGS were observed to explore conditions of long-term storage. The results showthat the AGS can be stored for long time under low temperature of3.8~4.5℃and the color, particle size, average settling velocity are no obvious changes. According to the experiment, thesignificant influencing degree of activity recovery is successively operation period, influentCOD, settling time, aeration rate. The best operating conditions for activity recovery of AGS are:operation period-510min, influent COD-800mg/L, aeration rate-0.15m3/h, settling time-15min.The activity recovery of AGS recovers quickly in these conditions and the removal rate oforganic compounds is high. AGS has strong adaptive ability in the early stage of recovery andexhibit strong biological activity in short time. And most of the pollutants are removed in2h ofaeration. The average removal rate of COD and ammonia nitrogen is70.6%and67%in2h ofaeration.
