In this passage, with rock-quality, high and steep slope in the Dagu mountainopen-air iron ore as the research object, and following the process of siteinvestigation-data collection-calculations with engineering-the stability analysis ofresearch ideas, with3D discontact measurement system (3GSM),it is easy to find outthe possibility of large slippery body distribution area of the slope rock mass structureand composition, lithology, the distribution characteristics of structure surface and tobuild the slope joints network system. The rock (body) strength and deformation of theparameters can be obtained through the laboratory experiment, the structure of the rock, rock mechanics experiments. With the use of the Barton and Hoek-Brown strengththeory, the structure surface and rock mass strength can be sure and the physical andmechanical properties of rock mass information can be got.Through pre process of the model with the ANSYS software, operating and solvingwith the FLAC3D software, I got the horizontal and vertical displacement of differentdepth of the mining platform of the slope. Used the Geoslope software to simulatedifferent depth of the platforms of slope stability, and got the present situation of theopen sliding and the rule of the stability when mining delayed. Finally, compared theabsolute displacement with the results of the computer, got the situation of the Dagumountain.
