| The suction roller which is used in slitting machine is an efficient tension device,it is developed abroad in recent years. It can be applied to the high precision industries,such as aluminum foil, plastic, film, PVC and so on. The suction roll, not only can berunning smooth, easy to operate and maintain, but also can provide equal tension to theeach strip. It can reduce the surface abrasion and improve the surface quality of stripas well. Therefore, the design and research of the suction roller are widespreadconcerned in the engineering and academic community.This paper is focus on the practical project. The design is based on user needs,applied to the Aluminum Strip Slitting unit directly. This paper choose suction roller asthe research object. The main works of the research include the following aspects.1,The formula is derived between the vacuum degree and the tension. Theimportant parameter about formula is analyzed. Especially in vacuum degree, how tocontrol the size of vacuum degree is proposed. The method of control tension is found,it is frequency control of motor speed.2,With the modern design though, the part and assembly is build with SoildWorks,the interference and collision is checking, the important components is analyzed withFEA based on virtual prototyping technology; the aerodynamic noise of suction rolleris solved based on green design; the shell is optimized with Matlab based onoptimization method.3, In the actual, the suction roller was designed which is used in an AluminumStrip Slitting unit. A compete set of drawings of suction is designed and a completesuction roller technological application from theory to practice is built finally.The suction roller used in the Aluminum Strip Slitting unit is a blank in domestic,especially the formula between the vacuum degree and the tension. The researchprocess and results provide a good method and scheme for the production and structuredesign of suction roller. It has reference values for the problems resemble which use the suction roller also. |
