Acrooding to the difference of its edge, the graphene nanoribbons aredistributed into two classes:zigzag-shaped graphene nanoribbons andarmchair-shaped graphene nanoribbons. Graphene nanoribbons have manyexcellent characters,besides, graphene nanoribbons are easily to cut. After cutting,graphene nanoribbons show different electronic properties for different shapes andsizes.,It also brings about some topological defencts which influence the electronproperties in the process of cutting. In this paper, we research the effect of thetopological defects.This paper consists of three chapters.In chapeter one, it introduces some characters of graphene nanoribbons. Thereare the finding and the electron transport property of graphene nanoribbons. Also itretreves the empirical tight-binding.Chapeter two is a briefly introduction of the basic theoretical methods adopted inthis paper.It is the non-equilibrium Green’s function method based on thetight-bingding model.Chapeter three, is the main work in this paper. We discuss the zigzag-shapedgraphene nanoribbons with topological defect have what electron transport property.Then,we get the conclusion bases on the negative differential conductivity and StateDensity of the research object.
