Coal is our most important primary energy, about70%of the energy, coal powerdominates electricity production in China. So, the reduction of the thermal power plant SO2emissions is the focus of air pollution.How to control SO2emissions, China’s powerenterprises to achieve sustainable development has become a strategic issue.In recent years,China has started to accelerate the governance of environmental pollution, and constantlyimprove the pollutant emission standards. Key areas of thermal power plant sulfur dioxideemission standards Performed for50mg/Nm3.With the implementation of the new standards, many domestic power plantdesulfurization environmental protection equipment performance has not reached therequirements of the new standard. Guangzhou Hengyun Power plant Unit7semi-drydesulfurization process of flue gas circulating fluidized bed. The design coal with a sulfurcontent of0.8%. Desulfurization efficiency is usually between85%-90%, can not meet thenew environmental emissions standards, desulfurization transformation imperative. Thereforelooking for a mature, reliable, economical and reasonable desulfurization transformation isnecessary.This article, on the basis of the research put into operation on the current domestic andinternational power plant flue gas desulfurization system. Analyzed widely used limestone-gypsum wet desulphurization of smoke desulfurization process, semidry desulfurization offlue gas circulating fluidized bed, ammonia desulfurization seawater desulfurization, spraydrying desulfurization furnace spray calcium plus tail humidification activationdesulfurization, electron beam method desulfurization. So, Hengyun Power plant Unit7CFBsemidry desulfurization process, the transformation of the program use limestone-gypsumwet desulphurization process. After the wet desulfurization project implementation ofsemi-dry desulfurization reform, by running the economic analysis and the desulfurizationefficiency analysis, Wet desulfurization running costs than the semi-dry desulfurizationdecrease of17.32%, Desulfurization efficiency increased by an average of91.35%to96.32%,Calcium to sulfur ratio Ca/S decreased from2.781to1.044; After transformation, thetechnical indicators, environmental indicators able to meet the requirements of the State Environmental Protection,economic indicators meet the power requirements. The renovationproject to provide a reference for related desulfurization system transformation.
