Since the photoisomerization of azobenzene ease of manipulation makes light reversible azobenzene isomerization which has a large number of applicaions in optical memory materials, light-driven motor, optical recording storage, molecular device, drug delivery etc. In biological systems can achieve the spatial and temporal control of the biological functions. This process has been explored for various classes of target proteins, including enzymes, ligand-gated ion channels, and G-protein-coupled receptors. Nicotinic acetylcholine receptor was the first receptor studied on light-control, but nearly30years research on the photoisomerization applied in nicotinic acetylcholine receptor was in slow progress.22previously synthesized activity neonicotinoids containing similar azo structures were tested by ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy, wherein the high activity compounds were contained electron-donating substituents at2,6positions of phenyl ring, the maximum absorption wavelength was obvious blue shift. Based on this research, this thesis designed and synthesized3new cross-linked azo neonicotinoid analogues. However with nitromethylene photoinstability led to light decomposition, we failed to detect the expected azobenzene cis-trans isomerization. Subsequently, we transformed this kind of structures, by introducing imidacloprid and2-nitromethylene amino imidazolidine in trans-azobenzene, synthesized8new azobenzene neonicotinoid compounds. Photoisomerization reaction occurred after365nm UV irradiation, and biological activity of the study showed that these compounds still showed certain activity differences against cowpea aphids (Aphis craccivora) between cis and trans isomers under200mg L-1concentration. These products basically laid the foundation for further in-depth research of photocontrol switch about nicotinic acetylcholine receptor.
