Application Research Of Well Testing Analysis For Fractured Horizontal Wells

With the continuous improvement of the horizontal well fracturing technology,Application of this technology in reservoir development is more and more widely. One of thesignificant advantages of a horizontal well over a vertical well is that it can be fractured at anumber of positons along its horizontal section.Furthermore,fractured horizontal well canincrease oil drainage area, expand the transverse and longitudinal sweep scope, exploit oilsheet and ridge oil layer, empty the reserves which is hard to produce in conventional way,reduce remaining reserves, link up more natural fissure, improve penetration ability offormation closed to wellbore,reduce the cost of horizontal well. Fractured horizontal well hasplayed more and more important role in contemporary oilfield development.Therefore, theresearch on well test model and deliverability evaluation for fractured horizontal wells areparticularly important.This paper focuses on the research on well testing analysis and interpretion model formultifractured horizontal wells.The results are as follows:(1) Establish the well testing analysis model of multifractured horizontal well withinfinite outer boundary condition, uniform flux, infinite conductivity or finite conductivityfractures.The author also researched the model in which fractured angles are different basis onthe vertical fracture model,plotted the typical curves by Matlab, made thorough analysis toeffect factor,provided a way to interpret parameters;(2) Establish the well testing analysis model of multifractured horizontal well withcircular constant or closed boundary condition, uniform flux fractures. Plotted the typicalcurves by Matlab, made thorough analysis to effect factor,provided a way to interpretparameters;(3) Establish the well testing analysis model of multifractured horizontal well in dualmedium reservoir. Plotted the typical curves by Matlab, made thorough analysis to effectfactor,provided a way to interpret parameters;(4) Well test models are added into analysis software.A case study was made to verify theabove models.
