"Dawuxing" loquat fruit is a type of loquat bred from natural selection in Longquanyi District in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. It is called "Loquat King" with its good quality, fruit large and beauty. But the outdate post-harvest storage and transportation technology seriously restricted the development of the loquat industry in this region. This thesis make a preliminary study on the post-harvest quality and activity changes of "Dawuxing" loquat fruit with controlled atmosphere storage and1-MCP preservation processing. Provide a reference for the preservation of the "Dawuxing" loquat fruit. The main results are as following:1The affection of controlled atmosphere storage on the storage and preservation of the "Dawuxing" loquat fruitThis research on the fruits post-harvest physiological and biochemical changes shows that controlled atmosphere storage could observably reduce the decrease on soluble solids, titratable acid, soluble sugar, vitamin C and the increase on weight loss, decay index of the "Dawuxing" loquat fruit. The best condition of controlled atmosphere storage of the "Dawuxing" loquat fruit is5%02+5%C02.Under this condition, the increase of cell membrane permeability and the accumulation of lignin content of the loquat fruit can be effective controlled, the phenylalanine ammonia lyase (PAL) activity and peroxidase (POD) activity increased gradually, and the polyphenol oxidase (PPO) activity is significantly reduced.2The affection of1-MCP on the storage and preservation of the "Dawuxing" loquat fruitTo explore the impact of1-MCP on the quality of the "Dawuxing" loquat fruit during storage, different concentrations of1-MCP be used. The results show that,1-MCP preservation processing have some roles in the post-harvest storage and preservation of the "Dawuxing" loquat fruit. The result is best when the concentration is0.9mg/L, high concentration (1.8mg/L) will damage the quality of the "Dawuxing" loquat fruit.0.45mg/L and0.9mg/L1-MCP treatment can effectively control hardness increases, the accumulation of lignin content and vitamin C content decreased of the "Dawuxing" loquat fruit, and inhibit the activity of POD, PAL, PPO.1.8mg/L1-MCP treatment can effectively inhibit the PPO activity, however, significantly reduce on the other measuring.
