2-aminobenzoxazole derivatives were widely used in a variety of indications because of their high biological activity. sp2amination is one of the most important areas in modern organic synthetic chemistry featured in presenting versatile and cost-effective. In this paper, we reported our investigations of the amination with benzoxazoles and amines with CuCl2or I2as the catalysts.First, amination of benzoxazole with amines were performed using CuCl2as the catalyst under mild conditions. For a series of secondary amines, the reactions gave high yields in acetonitrile at70℃for12h under air. A novel protocol for the synthesis of the2-aminobenzoxazole derivatives was reported.Second, we also reported the animations of benzoxazoles with amines catalyzed by I2-DMAP/EtOH system processd smoothly. For a series of secondary amines and primary amines, the reactions gave high yields and moderate yields respectively in ethanol at80℃for4h. An newly development catalyzed system for the preparation of the2-aminobenzoxazole derivatives was introduced.
