Mixed dibasic acides(DBA) are byproducts of cyclohexane oxidation. The maincomponents of DBA are succinic acid, glutaric acid and adipic acid. DBE which issynthesized with DBA and methanol are commonly used as cheap solvent.In this paper, we use the DBE and butane-1,4-diol (BDO) as the raw material tosynthetize a kind of polyester polyol. And the polyurethane elastomer was synthesizedwith the polyester polyol and TDI. We have a theory discussion and experimentalresearch on the preparation of the polyester polyol and polyurethane elastomer.The optimal formula of the synthesis of polyester polyol: the raw ratio ofn(DBE)/n(BDO) was0.814~0.938;dibutyltion dilaurate was used as a catalyst, thedosage of which was about0.2%. Triphenyl phosphite was used as aantioxygen,the dosage of which was about0.2%. The optimal process of thesynthesis of polyester polyol: the reaction was divided into normal pressurereaction stages and decompression reaction stages. In the stage of the normalpressure, the temperature was150℃,the reaction time was2h with nitrogen, a largenumber of methanol was distilled out. The stage of decompression reaction wascarried on, when temperature is at150℃, vacuumwas at0.095KPa, reaction time was9~11h. We also considered the effect of decoloring agent, which are activated carbon,hydrogen Peroxide, titanium dioxide, on the color of the polyester polyol. We foundthat when the activated carbon was used as a decoloring agent at80℃, the usage ofwhich was5%, the color of the polyester polyol was lightest. The molecular ofpolyester polyol is controllable between800~3000in the optimal reaction condition.The polyurethane elastomer which was synthetized from that kind of polyester polyolis good at resistance to cold and transparent property.A kind of polyester polyol with low price and good performances was prepared ina method which has good economic results and society result.
