With the continuous casting in iron and steel industry continues toimprove, multiple-strand continuous casting of molten steel flow in tundish configurationchanges, tundish, bath temperature distribution of weld pool surface fluctuation, the outlettemperature differences more difficult to control, directly affect the quality of casting.Using simulation methods of mathematical physics is a good design or optimization oftundish structure and flow control structure retaining wall, improving the effect of tundishmetallurgy.This combination a steel company “t” type Middle package production needs, bymathematics and physical simulation, means research has t type Middle package withinflow field, and temperature field, and turbulent kinetic energy distribution and differenttechnology parameter between of relationship and different factors on its effect law,research process optimization has original Middle package ontology structure, and foroptimization Hou of middle package structure tailored design has control flow retainingwall structure.(1) the average residence time effect of molten steel in tundish and dead-there aremany factors such as volume fraction, tundish capacity is one of its factors, increases theeffect of tundish capacity improvement of tundish metallurgy.
