The dissertation below consisted of five chapters. Chapter one mainly discussed the history and research progress in organic light emitting materials. In chapter two, the development of Suzuki coupling reaction was described. Chapter three was the synthesis and photophysical properties research of novel4-aryl substituted thiophene derivatives. Chapter four was the synthesis and photoluminescence characteristics research of novel4-aryl substituted thiophene derivatives with bis-diarylacrylonitrile unit. And in chapter five, the synthesis and photophysical properties of novel4-aryl substituted thiophene derivatives with a vinyl-quinoline unit were described. In chapter one, we mainly reviewed the developing history of organic light emitting materials。And we divided them into different types to give a brief summary of the recent research progress. In chapter two, the developing history of the Suzuki coupling reaction was reviewed, as well as the progress in the ligands research of the palladium catalysts and the improvement of reaction conditions. In chapter three,4-bromothiophene-2-carbaldehyde was used to afford a series of novel fluorescent aryl-substituted thiophene derivatives. The structures of these compounds were characterized and the UV-vis absorption and photoluminescent (PL) spectra of compounds in CH2Cl2were investigated. In chapter four, we reported the synthesis of photoluminescence characteristics of novel4-aryl substituted thiophene derivatives with bis-diarylacrylonitrile unit. Structures of these compounds were char-macterized by FT-IR, NMR, MS. The photo luminescent properties of these compounds were investigated through UV-vis absorption and photo luminescent (PL) spectra. Their thermal stability was analyzed by TG.In chapter five, we reported the synthesis and photophysical properties of novel quinoline derivatives. The structures of these compounds were characterized by IR,1H NMR,13C NMR and elemental analysis. The UV-vis absorption and photoluminescent spectra of these new compounds in CH2Cl2were investigated.
