In recent years, due to the potential application in gas absorption, catalysis, optical andmagnetic materials, it is one of the hot topics that the research on complexes constructed byligand containing N atoms with transition-metal/rare-earth metal ions. In the thesis, elevencomplexes based on2H-imidazole-4,5-dicarbonitrile with transition-metal/rare-earth metalions were synthesized by the solvothermal/hydrothermal and diffusion methods. Thestructures of the complexes were characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction, powderX-ray diffraction analysis, elementary analysis, IR spectroscopy and thermal gravity analysis. At the same time, the catalysis and fluorescence properties of some complexes have beentested. The experimental contents and results of thesis as follows:1. A3D porous framework [Cu(IMDN)(C6H5NO20.5]n(1) based on HIMDN withCu(ClO42using the solvothermal method was constructed. Complex1was studied as acatalyst for the selective oxidation of cyclohexanol. The results reveal the complex as catalystcan not only greatly improve the conversion rate of cyclohexanol, but also significantlyimprove the selectivity of cyclohexanone. Therefore, complex1is a powerful catalyst foroxidation of cyclohexanol.2. The complexes {[Zn2(IMDN)4(H2O)3]·(H2O)3}n(2),[Co(IMDN)2(H2O)2]n(3) and[Zn(IMDN)(TBA)Cl2]n(4)(TBA=tetrabutyl ammonium ion) based on HIMDN weresynthesized by the normal temperature diffusion method. Complexes2-4arethree-dimensional structure formed by the hydrogen-bond interaction among one-dimensionalchains.3. Seven complexes [M2(H2DTIM)2(OX)2(H2O)4]n[M=La (5), Nd (6), Pr (7), Ce (8),Sm (9), Gd (10)] and Zn2(HDTIM)2(H2O)4(11) based on HIMDN ligand, oxalic acid, Na3N,and different metal ions were synthesized through in situ reaction. Complexes5-10are two-dimensional layer. Complex11is zero-dimensional structure. Moreover, the fluorescentproperties of complexes were investigated in the solid state, fluorescence spectra showcomplexes5,7,9and10have fluorescent properties.
