We all know that rigid carboxylic acids ligands have been often used inmetal-organic framework compounds, but the nitrogen-containing ligands have beenless used.While this article the author synthesized flexible tetrazole and triazolecompounds as metal-organic framework compounds, which were often studied inrecent years. The tetrazole also have rich coordination modes, while the betterstability of MOFs are synthesized by them.First, the author synthesized a flexibletetrazole compound (1,3,5-Tri(4-Tetrazoliumphenoxy)benzene), which is an unreported new compound. And then we synthesized four new metal-organic frameworkcompounds which have similar structures with four metals salt zinc, cadmium,manganese and copper through the solvothermal method.They are [Zn3(TTPB)6(H2O)6]·C3H9N,[Cu3(TTPB)6(H2O)6]·2H2O·C3H9NO,[Mn3(TTPB)6]·6DMF,[Cd3(TTPB)6(H2O)6]·DMF.And we also get that the four compounds have about7.076×9.6242size rectangular channels, two-dimensional layered structure. In addition, theremaining porosity of all the compounds are more than53percent except for themanganese compound by Platon program calculation. And these four compoundsshowed a good chemical stability. They can still maintain good structure in strongpolar solvents such as methanol, water, etc. But in general the thermal stability of thefour compounds is common. They were broken down in an air atmosphere above200℃. We test the liquid adsorption properties of three compounds of zinc, cadmium,copper. The results told us that the three compounds showed a certain degree ofadsorption performance about ethanol, water. Secondly, the author synthesized threenew compounds which using a flexible triazole compound with metallic salt zinc,cadmium, lead, respectively, by using the solventevaporation method.They are [Pb(anti-BTX)(H2O)(NO32],[Cd(anti-BTX)(H2O)2(NO32],[Zn(syn-BTX)2(H2O)2](NO32. Meanwhile, author also researched the π-π stacking interactions in the molecularstructure of the compounds. And we get that there are parallel π-π stacking and edgeopposite π-π stacking interactions in the structures.
