Inertial confinement fusion is one of the green energy which human can make use of. As a kind of excellent nonlinear optical materials, KDP crystals were used to make the photoelectric switch in Inertial confinement fusion. Quantity and good optical quality of large KDP crystal is required in Inertial confinement fusion. Due to the temperature control precision, The conventional KDP crystal growth equipment could not produce large KDP crystal. The growth of KDP crystal with low damage threshold of the large size become a research topic. The research of the temperature control for the large size of KDP crystal growth equipment is important for the development of inertial confinement fusion technology.Based on the the temperature control precision of KDP crystals, a method of temperature control system was provided in this paper. In order to achieve the uniformity of bath temperature, air bath is replaced by water bath, and the propeller agitator was added to the system.The temperature fields of Inner tank and outer tank were analyzed by FLUENT. The feasibility of the temperature control system which was provided in this paper was verified through the methold of the numerical analysis. Through the comparative simulation analysis, the propeller stirring speed and the solution flow rate was appeared.Fuzzy PID temperature control program was written by the Labview. This program include temperature gathering, the fuzzy control, PID control, pulse width modulation,etc. Compared with the traditional PID control system of temperature control, Fuzzy PID controller has a small amount of overshoot and high precision of temperature control.This topic studies the temperature control system meet the requirements of crystal growth. The system provides a hardware platform for the growth of large KDP crystals, at the same time provides a feasible solution for industry to solve similar strong time-varying, large hysteresis control object.
