The leather dyes is a kind of important chemical materials in the process of. leatherprocessing. wastewater which produced by Leather production process contains many typesof pollutants and toxic substances. By now there are few enterprise in the process ofproduction and the processing of wastewater pretreatment, which caused the waste ofresources and environmental pollution, especially Cr in the tan wastewater. At present, the main methods of determined Cr (Ⅵ) in theleather and wastewater wereGermany DIN53314standard and the European Union IUC18standards. The most difficultproblem of Cr (Ⅵ) measured was the interference of water-soluble in leather dye, the color ofleather products to determine the deeper the more serious influence of extract of Cr (Ⅵ), sopeople are put forward for the liquid decoloring, and then Cr (Ⅵ) was measured. In the present, Cr (VI) in the production of finished products of manufacturer leather islow, and use directly spectropHotometry, content was lower than detection limit, so it needsenrichment. The enrichment of method is anion exchange resin exchange with again after themethod. For all kinds of anion resin exchange Cr (VI) and elution behavior research is notcomplete at home and abroad. The dyes affect of the hexavalent chromium’s determination inleather, at present, the method to eliminate interference with adsorption resin, the researchabout all sorts of adsorption resin adsorption different dyes, adsorption resin regeneration, theeffect of adsorption resin content of Cr (VI) is not deep and domestic and foreign.Based on the above considerations, we study that Cr (VI) and leather dyes’ adsorptionbehavior in resins. A study of three aspects as fellow:1. Static method to study Cr (VI) in D318, D311,330, D301,202, D201,201x4,201*7anion exchange resin adsorption, adsorption isotherm, adsorption kinetic and desorptionperformance. The adsorption quantities of eight kinds of anion exchange resin for Cr (Ⅵ)were increase as time growth, when the response time of4h adsorption balances. Theoptimum temperature, reaction rate constant, liquid membrane diffusion activation energy anddesorption agent different for adsorption of Cr (Ⅵ) by different resin.2. Static method to study Cr (VI) in the X-5, X-8and NKA macro porous adsorptionresins on the absorption, adsorption isotherm and desorption. The adsorption quantity of threekinds of macroporous adsorption resin for Cr (Ⅵ) is increases as the time growth. Theadsorptions reach balance as the adsorption time of2h. When desorbed three kinds of macro porous adsorption resin which adsorbed Cr (Ⅵ),15min of desorption time reach balance. Thebest desorption agent is60%ethanol for NKA macro porous adsorption resin, while the bestdesorption agent is45%ethanol for X-5macro porous adsorption resin. X-8of macro porousadsorption resin desorption rate is very low.3. Static method to study the acidic green, acid blue, acidic golden yellow and directpurple four leather dyes’ adsorption and desorption performance in the X-5, X-8and NKAthree kinds of macro porous adsorption resin. By the experimental results we know: threekinds of macro porous adsorption resin for four dye absorption are increases as time growth. When the adsorption time of90min, the adsorption reach balance. But, the desorption of thedyes which adsorbed in the macro porous adsorptive resin, X-8macro porous adsorptionresin’s desorption rate very low, the effect of desorption time for the desorption rate is notmuch; X-5and NKA macro porous adsorption resins’ rate increase as the time growth, desorption time of30min basic reach when desorption balance, and desorption rate obviouslyhigher than X-8macro porous adsorption resin’s, so X-8macro porous adsorption resin notsuitable for adopted the four leather dyes.
