Research On The Dragon Pattern Clothing And Innovation Design Of Run Li-A Branch Of Li In Hainan

As we known,the Li is the one of the ancient ethnic minorities，which is the earliestinhabitant in Hainan province,has asplendid national culture. The Li has been divided into RunLi、Qi Li、Ha Li、Sai Li、Mei Fu Li by scholars, according to the different dialects and localoriginated from the worship of nature,as well as from the cultural impact the Chinese.Theworship and admiration of dragon are reflected in the various aspects of life,especially in theclothing.The dragon pattern is the main image of the Li clothing which has various images inother branch of Li by different technology,in which Run Li is particularly typical in theshape,color,and craft.It has great significance and necessity for carding and researching thatstudy from the dragon pattern of Li dress.In this paper, based on the fieldwork and the combination with acadermic reaserch,thedragon pattern of Run Li clothing is analyzed from the modeling structure、color matching、cultural implication etc,and hope to complement and enrich the existing records of RunLi.Meanwhile, the dragon costume of the Li is linked to the fashion life, so that the ancientculture of Li can have new glories in modern civilization.
