Urban Human Settlement Environment Evaluation Of Hebei Province Based On Principal Component Analysis

This paper explored comprehensive evaluation method of urban human settlement objectively from both angels of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, bases on the research of urban human settlement theory and practice from domestic and overseas, what is applicated into the empirical analysis, firstly, urban human settlement evaluation indexes of the cities in Hebei Province to be selected in this paper, and then data to be collected and filed, urban human settlement of11cities in hebei province to be quantitatively analysised by using of principal component analysis on this basis, according to the evaluation results, problems and limitied factors to improve the urban human settlement of main cities in Hebei Province to be qualitatively analysised, further sustainable developing ideas and suggestions about urban human settlement of cities in Hebei Province to put forward to.In the process of evaluation index formulation, according to development of current actual conditions of cities in Hebei Province, with economic conditions, living conditions, ecological environment and public infrastructure for the four aspects of the point,26specific evaluation indexes to be selected, not only to reflect the condition of urban human settlement overall and really by these indexes, but also to compare urban human settlement of11cities in Hebei Province effectively; in data processing, principal component analysis to be used the to deal with data of26performance indexes, and comprehensive score of the urban human settlement of11cities in Hebei Province to be concluded., In the process of the data statistics and analysis, statistical analysis software SPSS16.0and office automation software Microsoft Excel to be used in this paper.By using the method of above to calculate the synthetical score, and then based on the synthetical score situation of eleven cities, urban human settlement levels of eleven cities the total score of the eleven cities to be put into four categories:excellent human settlement of the cities of Shijiazhuang City, Tangshan City, Qinhuangdao City; good human settlement of the cities of Baoding City, Handan City, Langfang City; general human settlement of the cities of Cangzhou City, Xingtai City; poor human settlement of the cities of Zhangjiakou City, Hengshui City, Chengde City. According to the comprehensive evaluation of urban human settlement of11cities in Hebei Province, and combined with the analysis of the present situation and problems of urban human settlement of the main cities in Hebei Province, practical and effective measures to put forward to for the sustainable development of urban human settlement of the main cities in Hebei Province. To improve urban human settlement of the main cities in Hebei Province, following aspects should be done:first,five principles of urban human settlement must be followed; second, to promote the urban human settlement quality of cities in Hebei Province to increase global, and to narrow the distance between city and city; third, improve the economic strength of cities overall, to provide material guarantees for improving the urban human settlement; forth, to reduce the pollution and strengthen the pollution management, to protect the ecological environment of the cities; fifth, to increase the investment of urban social cultural environment, and to strive to improve social cultural environment; sixth, to improve the level of urban infrastructure to meet the demand of urban residents, seventh, to make rational urban planning and actual policy.
