Based on the geological conditions of171#vein of Dongfeng orefield in a GoldMine in Shandong, we conduct an experiment of mining method at-420mid pieces inthis orefield. The171#vein of Dongfeng orefield is the main orebody, which is a bigvein. The orebody trend is NE60°, the dip angle is40°~45°, the average thickness is13.8meters, the average grade is1.5g/t. Therefore, the171#vein of Dongfeng orefieldin a Gold Mine in Shandong is the inclined medium-thick orebody, which can beregarded as the research object in this article.According to the situation of study and development on inclined medium-thickorebodies at home and abroad in recent years, the article proposes using sublevel localore removal stage room stopping to mine the inclined medium-thick orebody, andconducting a experiment at Dongfeng orefield in a Gold Mine in Shandong. Besides, thearticle also applies the FLAC3Dsoftware to conduct a numerical simulation, andanalyses the influence to hanging wall stability due to the mining of experimental room.By implying on experimental room, the mining method achieves good results. By usingthe method, the continuous pillars can preserve hanging wall stability and prevent themining to damage the aquifer. Drilling in tunnel and small exposed area is conducive tothe operational safety of workers. Using medium-length hole to blast and electric LHDremove ores. It solved the low-dip angled and ore residue problems. Using explosiveforce haulage stopping to recover the ores, it can reduce the quantities of miningpreparation, improve the labour productivity and reduce the costs.Exploration-production combination: Using the footwall drilling drift and the cutcrosscut which is vertical to the orebody to control the wall rock boundary of thehanging wall and footwall. A good indicator of ore loss and dilution is obtained.
