Abstract: It adopted ordinary flame spraying method to spay aluminizing and ceramiccoatings one after another on copper surface, then to heat up to appointed temperature keepingthe situation for hours to make the thermal chemical reaction thermal sprayingceramic/aluminizing composite coatings. It adopted XRD and SEM to analyse the organizationstructure and observe the pattern, meanwhile, it also tested the hardness, thermal shockresistance, compactness, anchoring strength, the corrosion resistance performance, abrasionperformance and resistance to oxidation in the high temperature. It concluded that, through theXRD testing, there are new phases like Cu9Al4, Cu5Zn8, Cu3Ti to be brought out; through SEMobservation, there is supersaturation structure to separate out and the coatings combine thecopper closely, the Rockwell hardness can reach to82-87HRE and the aluminizing coatingmicrohardness is more or less Hv264at most, the number of the thermal shock can reach above50times, the porosity is only0.8%without hole sealing; the composite-coatings anchoringstrength is22.25Mpa; in the corrosion resistance testing, the acid corrosion resistanceperformance increased as16.30times as the copper of and25.65times as the copper of on saltcorrosion resistance performance, both after hole sealing; in the anodic polarization testing, thecomposite-coatings electrochemical corrosion performance improved markedly; in the abrasionperformance testing, the performance of abrasive wear resistance improved to6.18times ofcopper and6.24times in dry adhesive wear and10.00times in oil adhesive wear experiment, itseffective work period could achieve27.5minutes; the composite coatings high temperatureresistance oxidation performance enhanced remarkably. the multiple coatings performancesabove all were better than the copper aluminizing and the pure ceramic coating of.
