Surface parts especially complex curved surface parts has been machinery manufacturing of a typical difficult machining parts, such as aviation impeller and airfoil blade, Marine propeller, etc., they have the surface modeling complex, the material removal rate is high, the blank materials difficult processing, machining accuracy requirements higher characteristic. Along with the CAD/CAM technology, virtual machining technology development, the complex curved surface parts efficient numerical control processing has become the research focus problem.In this paper, the complex surface processing technology is thoroughly research. The main content is as follows:(1) research the complex surface cutting tool path planning technology, complex surface processing nonlinear theory analysis and control technology, and puts forward five axis machining ideal trajectory interpolation algorithm.(2) the three coordinate surface various processing methods of machining efficiency and machining accuracy; Research tool diameter, cutting tool type, space, machining accuracy, Z to layer higher parameters for machining efficiency and machining precision influence.(3) research five coordinate surface all the processing method of characteristics, in order to impeller as an example, analyzing the impeller machining process path planning and processing.
