Bu-gong tea saponin, which is an Energy-saving and environmental friendly pretreatment agent, had been proposed. Because its use process does not change the original equipment, without adding of caustic soda and hydrogen peroxide, the cotton fabric bleaching and scouring can be completed in one pretreatment bath, so dyeing and printing industry pays more and more attention to it. But the reason of its advantages is under fully, especially the theory without caustic soda and hydrogen peroxide is not clarified in, now its application has not been effectively promoted.Through a large number of systemic experiment, this paper researched the active mechanism Bu-gong tea saponin, we can draw some conclusions as follow:1) The Bu-gong tea saponin has good bleaching scouring performance, the Semis quality of processed cotton fabrics meet production requirements, and in impregnating process condition, the cotton fabric finished by the Bu-gong saponin processing have better quality than that alkali finished by alkali-oxygen processing;2) Pure tea saponin has no bleaching performance on cotton fabric;3) The bleaching substance in Bu-Gong tea saponin is sodium percarbonate and its mass content is approximately45%;4) Alkali agent in Bu-Gong tea saponin is a mixture of sodium hydroxide, sodium carbonate and sodium percarbonate, and the mass content of sodium hydroxide is approximately28%, the mass content of sodium carbonate content is approximately5%;5) Adding a certain amount of hydrogen peroxide stabilizer and refining agent to Bu-gong tea saponin can effectively improve the fabric whiteness and capillary effect, and reduce fabric strength losing;6) The mechanism of Bu-Gong tea: the bleaching scouring principle is essentially hydrogen peroxide bleaching and alkali refining, with that words, the principle of alkali-oxygen bleaching.
