With the rapid development of economy, the extensive way of economic growth makes the contradiction of resources and environment more outstanding. The pollution problems are negative to the development of the country and become the obstacles and generate public pressure for economic growth. The demand for the environment pollution control becomes higher and higher and new standard-Standard for pollution control on the landfill site of municipal solid waste (GB16889-2008) is carried out to make more explicit requirements for the solid waste pollution control.So far the biological treatment process is the main process for the treatment of percolate in China. Among them, the newly-established treatment plants are applying the new process which is the combination of biological treatment and membrane process.The new standard that comes into effect brings the more strict requirement for the organic pollutants and the clear limit of Nitrogenous Compounds for the first time. Thus, new-generation percolate treatment plants are trying to apply the multistage nitrification denitrification process for membrane bioreactor. Because that process just start to be applied, the whole theoretical study for the system design, operating parameter, treatment effect and the judgement of actual operating effect according to the new standard are still blank. For the lack of basic research for the new process, the paper will study the reaction mechanism of the process unit and the treating process and meanwhile compare it with the actual operating effect of the domestic cases which use the same process.Example proves, biological nitrogen removal process is most completely and economic method. Combination of NF or RO membrane processing system for the advanced treatment of landfill leachate treatment can be ensure that the concentration of COD and TN is greater than15000mg/L and1800mg/L, the removal of ammonia can more than99.5%and the total nitrogen removal rate is between97.3%-98%, the concentration of COD and TN in treated water is lower than30mg/L and10mg/L, and the construction cost more than30%lower than the other similar process.Finally, through the comparison between the conclusions of theoretical research and the results of case study, this research program will summarize a whole system of biochemical denitrification process route and design system and also make some suggestions for the process design and application to improve the stability, economic efficiency and treatment efficiency of the process.
