In the1950s, with the rapid development of the polymer materials, anew type of hydraulic structure-rubber dam emerged which was flexiblethin-walled and low-head. However, the quality of the rubber dam bagmainly depends on curing process. The produce of rubber dam is a verycomplex and time-consuming process, in order to make a better researchon the effect of temperature and pressure of hot plate on dam bag, a lot ofthe experiments and contrasts are needed to be done, the workload andeconomic investment is very large. As a result, we need to adopt themethod of numerical simulation to study the distribution of temperaturefield, stress field and strain field during the curing process of hot plate, thus make further research of the effect of curing process on the quality ofthe dam bag. Therefore, the numerical simulation of large-scalecontinuous plate curing press used for rubber dam has certain theoreticalmeaning and practical meaning.This dissertation made a research on the temperature field simulationand stress field analysis of hot plate, adopted finite element analysissoftware ANSYS to make numerical simulation, the main researchcontents are as follows:1) To introduce the main structure of plate curing press and thepresent study situation, at the same time,make a deep analysis on thethree essential factors of the curing process of rubber dam;2) To introduce the basic theory of the heat transfer, the stress andstrain, which provide the theory foundation for the analysis of this thesis.At the same time, the mathematical model of the temperature field, stressand strain field under certain conditions were established.3) Finite element analysis software ANSYS was adopted to make numerical simulation of temperature field of hot plate curing press,including research on the mainly effect factors of temperature of curingpress, the effect of temperature on the quality of the dam bag, and thedistribution of the temperature field of the hot plate;4) Finite element analysis software ANSYS was adopted to makenumerical simulation of stress and strain field of hot plate curing press,including analysis on the positions which may be deformation on the hotplate, the effect of stress and strain on the quality of the dam bag, and thedistribution of the stress and strain field of the hot plate.Through the structure analysis of large-scale continuous plate curingpress used for rubber dam, we had a more thorough understanding on thewhole structure of plate curing press, according to this, we can makeimprovements on the techniques of the equipment to increase productivity.Then, through the numerical simulation of temperature field and stress andstrain field simulation of the hot plate, made a comprehensive study on theeffect of temperature and pressure of the dam bag during the curing process, used the simulation theory to guide the actual production.
