In this paper, the preparation,structure and properties of poly (l-lacticacid)/EPOM nano-composite was investigated by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC),in-situ polarized optical microscopy(POM),atomic force microscopy(AFM),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),selected area electron diffraction(SAED)and Flourier transformation infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). The Morphologyand crystallization behavior of the nano-composite when isothermal crystallizationand crystallizated at120℃was discussed. Meanwhile, this paper also speculated thePLLA molecules and EPOM particles’s role models and the structure of a mechanism.It is found that the DSC spectroscopy isothermal crystallization at120℃illustrated that with the EPOM particles infunded increase the crystallinity,butprolong the Crystallization time.The cooling spectroscopy at2℃/min illustrated thatit is indeed improve the crystallinity of PLLA.The POM images were shown that there are many inhomogeneoussphaerocrystals during isothermal crystallization of PLLA with EPOM particles at120℃. Between the big sphaerocrystals spaces were filled with the smallsphaerocrystals. The AFM images were shown that the sphaerocrystals were uniformdistribution at the surface of the PLLA thin film.Inside the thin film there are many particles uniform distribution. Manyamorphous areas which were about hundreds of Nanometer level owing to theparticles self-assembly were found according the images of TEM.SAED imagesshown that the crystal form of PLLA was unchanged. The molecular chains becomemore compact.Campare with the infrared spectroscopys of the pure PLLA and the EPOMPLLA can found the Long alkyl chains of EPOM was interacted with the C=O ofPLLA(maybe entanglement and tensioning).It can produced more α form. The regulararrange of molecular chains were distored by the Long alkyl chains and formed anamorphous area which were about hundreds of Nanometer level.
